Appellants Nicholas Katsafanas, a/k/a Nick Perry, and Edward Plevel, convicted of conspiracy 1 , theft by deception 2 , criminal mischief 3 , rigging a publicly exhibited contest 4 , and perjury 5 in connection with the Pennsylvania State Lottery fraud of 1980 bring this appeal from the denial of their post-trial motions for a new trial and in arrest of judgment.
