Reversing.
The appellant, James Crouch, upon an indictment, in which, he was charged with the crime of wilful murder, by shooting and thereby killing Sampson Wills, in the town of Salt Lick, on the 24th -day of December, 1915, was tried and found guilty of voluntary manslaughter by the verdict of the jury, and his punishment fixed, at confinement in the state reformatory, for an indeterminate period, of which the minimum was seventeen years and the maximum eighteen years, and the court rendered a judgment accordingly.
