liThe defendant, Joshua Vallo, was convicted by a jury of aggravated incest. The trial court sentenced him to 50 years’ imprisonment at hard labor, with credit for time served but also with the first 25 years of the sentence to be served without probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. The defendant appealed, assigning as error a violation of his constitutional right of confrontation by the admission of the victim’s videotaped interview where the victim refused to answer questions on cross-examination regarding the alleged offense.
