BAZELON, Chief Judge:
Appellant is confined in Saint Elizabeths Hospital as an insane person and appeals from denial of release in habeas corpus. On September 29, 1962, when she was sixty years old, a policeman found her wandering about and took her to the D.C. General Hospital.1 On October 11, 1962, she filed in the District Court a petition for a writ of habeas corpus.
