CARPENETI, Chief Justice.

I. INTRODUCTION

Based on a negative moral character determination, the Board of Governors of the Alaska Bar Association denied an application to the Alaska Bar. In particular, the Board found that the applicant-a former priest-was not truthful regarding aspects of his departure from the priesthood, which was clouded by allegations of misconduct. The applicant appeals, arguing that the Board erred by misstating the record and relying on hearsay evidence and information not in the record.
