Defendants were charged with first-degree premeditated murder, MCL 750.316; MSA 28.548, assault with intent to murder, MCL 750.83; MSA 28.278, and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2). They were convicted on October 23, 1978, by a Detroit Recorder’s Court jury of second-degree murder, MCL 750.317; MSA 28.549, assault with intent to murder and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.
