Rebecca Denise Wilson was charged with two counts of cruelty to children, one for causing pain to her three-month-old child, M. W, from a severe diaper rash, and one for wilfully depriving M. W. of necessary sustenance to the extent that the child’s well-being was jeopardized. A jury acquitted her of the first count and convicted her of the second.
