THORNBERRY, Circuit Judge:

The appellant, Sally Gahn, was an employee in her husband’s business and was covered by a group health insurance policy purchased from the appellee, Allstate Life Insurance Company (Allstate). After she was diagnosed with liver cancer, Allstate increased the premiums and ultimately can-celled the policy. Mrs. Gahn sued Allstate, arguing that the cancellation violated Louisiana law.
