Appellant Steven Holdsworth was in a Contra Costa County jail after being sentenced for assault with a deadly weapon. (Pen. Code, § 245, subd. (a)(1).) Four days after sentence was imposed, he destroyed jail property. He was later convicted of this crime. (Pen. Code, § 4600.) The trial court determined that the crime should be sentenced as an in-prison offense under section 1170.1, subdivision (c). The court accordingly gave appellant a six-year sentence fully consecutive to the assault sentence, three years for the section 4600 offense and three years for three prior…
