When the motion for a rehearing was presented the court re-examined the question of the validity of the chattel mortgage here in question and was satisfied that this mortgage is invalid as “against any other person than the parties thereto.” Sec. 241.08 of the Statutes. The motion for rehearing was granted because the briefs on that motion presented for the first time the proposition that the defendants were estopped to question the validity of the plaintiffs’ chattel mortgage.
