People ex rel. Phillips v. Strassheim

This is an original proceeding in this court upon a writ of habeas corpus issued out of this court, directed to the sheriff of Cook county, upon the petition of Joseph Phillips. The relator was indicted by a special grand jury for Cook county for alleged offenses claimed to have been committed by him, in violation of the Primary Election law, at the primary election held in the city óf Chicago August 8, 1908.
