The defendant, Ceasar Middleton, was arrested on February 28, 1975 and charged with the following offenses: theft of services (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 16 — 3(a)), unlawful use of weapons (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 24 — l(a)(10)), criminal damage to property (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 21 — 1(a), and aggravated assault (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 12 — 2(a)(1)).
