On April 10, 1947, defendant Roland J. Tabor purchased a 1942 1 1/2 ton Chevrolet truck from the French Pontiac Company of New Orleans, and financed the credit portion of $720.00 through Time Finance Company, said loan being evidenced by chattel mortgage note in the sum of $720.00, of date April 10, 1947, and secured by chattel mortgage of the same date. The chattel mortgage recites that the truck is located at New Orleans, Louisiana. On May 10, 1947, this same truck was acquired by defendant A.M.
