This age discrimination and retaliatory discharge case was originally commenced in the Circuit Court of Monongalia County, West Virginia. Citing to questions arising under the laws of the United States, defendants removed this action to this federal court in February, 1984, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1441(b). In May 1987, plaintiff moved voluntarily to dismiss his federal cause of action for age discrimination and to remand this case to the state court.
