This is a bill in equity filed by the Trustees of the Putnam Free School, a charitable corporation, alleging that it holds property bequeathed by the will of Oliver Putnam for the purpose of establishing and maintaining a school at Newburyport, and that it has become impracticable to accomplish this purpose in the manner provided in said will, and praying for a decree authorizing the administration of the trust in a certain manner and for such other decree as may be appropriate.
