Before this Court is a Motion to Quash the Commonwealth’s appeal from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County granting Appellee Christopher Williams’ petition for relief under the Post Conviction Relief Act, 42 Pa.C.S. §§ 9541-9546 in this capital case. Appel-lee argues that this Court lacks jurisdiction to hear the appeal because the Commonwealth failed to file timely its notice of appeal with the Philadelphia County Clerk of Courts in accordance with Pa.R.A.P. 903(a) (“the notice of appeal ... shall be filed within 30 days after the entry of the…
