Shakiya Sturgis, as next Mend of Dar-naya Sturgis, appellant, alleged that nurse-midwife, appellee Mackie Banks, 1 along with other non-party assistants negligently delivered and injured Darnaya with excess traction (ie. pulling on the baby’s head) in January 2002. After a jury trial, the jury found for the defendants. Sturgis’s appeal focuses on two pretrial rulings on two motions in limine by Sturgis and by the defendants.
