STOKES, Justice.

On January 12, 1948, upon a petition duly signed and presented to the Commissioners of Floyd County, an election was called and later held, which resulted in the voting and issuance of'bonds of the county in the sum of $500,000, the proceeds of which were to be used for the construction of cer*834tain farm-to-market paved! roads. The order calling the election designated eight roads of the county as being those which would be paved.
