This is an appeal by the Board of Attorneys Professional Responsibility (Board) from the recommendation of the referee in this disciplinary proceeding that the license of Attorney Michael D. Mandelman to practice law in Wisconsin be suspended for five months as discipline for professional misconduct. It is the Board's position that Attorney Mandelman's misconduct warrants a license suspension for a period of six months to one year.
