This is a diversity action brought by plaintiff Caroline Chevalier against defendant Kimberly Barnhart. Plaintiff is a citizen of Windsor, Canada, and defendant is a citizen of the State of Ohio. Plaintiff alleges that beginning in July of 2007, she advanced several loans of money to defendant totaling $122,708, not including interest. Complaint, ¶ 6. These loans included: funds in the amount of approximately $70,000, to be devoted to expenses relating to the defendant’s residence in Logan, Ohio; loans of $13,700 and $10,000 in 2007 and 2010…
