This appeal ensues from a car accident on February 24, 1992, which resulted in the death of David Jaynes, a truck driver for J. T. Shannon Lumber Company. Appellant General Accident Insurance Company, Shannon’s workers’ compensation carrier, paid more than $101,000 in benefits to David’s wife and two children.
