Lorenz Schill (“ap-pellee”) was employed at General Motors Corporation’s (“appellant’s”) automobile assembly plant. On September 26, 1979, in the' course of performing his job duties, the vehicle ap-pellee was driving was struck broadside by an automobile, causing the ap-pellee to be thrown to the floor where he struck his back and head. Appellee was first taken to the plant dispensary for a cursory examination and later taken to Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital where he was treated by Dr. Shimon Zuckerman. Thereafter, ap-pellee engaged Dr. Donald Surridge as his treating physician.
