—Affirming.

This action was instituted by appellee, W. F. Hughley, to iecover damages for personal injuries occasioned by his falling over an obstruction in one of the streets of the city of Mayfield. The jury returned a verdict in favor of appellee for the sum of $250, and the city appeals.

In the year 1907 the street on which appellee received his injuries, which is known as South First street, was annexed to the city of Mayfield. At the time appellee received his injuries, he was- on his way from his home to a union labor meeting. It was a…
