This is a dispute concerning the disposition of funds at a mortgage closing. Plaintiffs David and Angela Roberts are homeowners who took out a mortgage loan from Ameriquest Mortgage Company. Defendant George T. Crowley was the attorney representing Ameriquest in connection with the loan. Plaintiffs allege that Crowley (1) recorded the mortgage prior to disbursing the full proceeds of the loan in violation of Mass. Gen.
