Plaintiffs appeal from the trial court’s dismissal of their complaint for failure to state a cause of action.
Claiming that he was taxed excessively on the rental of a car, plaintiff Ron Freund sued Avis Rent a Car System (Avis); the city of Chicago; Illinois Director of Revenue, J. Thomas Johnson; and State Treasurer, Jerome Cosentino.
