A trial of the issues in this case was had before his Honor, Judge Townsend, and a jury. The action was one in tort for alleged injuries suffered by the plaintiff, while employed as a workman with the defendant company. A verdict was rendered in favor of the plaintiff for the sum of $35,000, the total amount asked for in the complaint.
