—The indictment was returned by the grand jury on April 18, 1922, charging the defendant with the crime of stealing, on or about November 10, 1920, in the nighttime, from a store building, “certain clothing, shoes, hats, wool blankets, cigars, ladies’ and gentleMen's wearing apparel, and divers and sundry other goods and merchandise kept for sale therein, a more particular description of said property being to the grand jury *575unknown at this time, of the aggregate value of $1,600 in lawful money of the United States.”
