ERVIN, Circuit Judge:
Appellant Alvin Justin “Buddy” Huggins (“Huggins”) was convicted in 1996 of conspiracy to possess marijuana with the intent to distribute and aiding and abetting possession with intent to distribute marijuana, in violation of 21 U.S.C.A. §§ 841(a)(1) and 846. See 21 U.S.C.A. §§ 841(a)(1) (West 1981), 846 (West 1981 & Supp.1999). The district court sentenced Huggins to a 210-month term of imprisonment followed by a three-year term of supervised release,…
