This is an original proceeding in habeas corpus wherein the petitioner seeks his release from confinement in the county jail of Oklahoma county.

The verified petition filed herein alleges that the petitioner was committed to' the county jail of Oklahoma county on May 20, 193S, for the nonpayment of -a fine of $50 and costs of the proceeding.
