In a case with very compelling facts, we must decide if Washington recognizes a cause of action for the negligent failure of an adoption placement agency1 to disclose statutorily-mandated information about the child to prospective adoptive parents. We hold adoptive parents may state a cause of action against an adoption placement *390agency for the negligent failure to meet the disclosure requirements of RCW 26.33.350 or RCW 26.33.380.
