Defendant appeals from a judgment of conviction of second-degree manslaughter and an order denying his post-trial motions. We affirm.

Defendant, Raymond Swanson, a 17-year-old, was certified for adult prosecution and indicted on a charge of first-degree manslaughter 1 in the killing of Terrance Tarver, his mother’s fiance. At about midnight on the evening of June 7, 1974, Tarver met his roommate, Jack Nelson, at a bar in Minneapolis where they consumed several drinks over a period of about an hour.
