PELLEGRINI, Judge.

Ray Oaks Machine Shop (Employer) appeals from an order of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board (Board) which affirmed the referee’s award of fatal claim benefits to Mary E. Bubenko (Claimant), the widow of Alex J. Bubenko (Decedent).

Decedent worked as a coal miner for seven and a half years beginning in 1936, where he was exposed to coal dust. Later, Decedent worked as a grinder in several machine shops for twenty-four years, where he was exposed to silica dust.
