KEITH, Circuit Judge.

Defendant appeals the district court’s judgment denying his motion to vacate sentence filed under 28 U.S.C. § 2255. For the reasons stated herein, we AFFIRM the decision of the district court.

On March 9, 1993, a federal grand jury sitting in Chattanooga, Tennessee, returned a two-count indictment charging the defendant, Gerald Pasquarille, with Count one, possession with intent to distribute cocaine hydrochloride and cocaine base (“crack”), in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), and in Count two, using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking…
