OPINION AND ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO REMAND

This matter is before the Court on the plaintiffs motion to remand the case to the Wayne County, Michigan circuit court, where it was filed originally. The plaintiff brought an action to lay claim to the proceeds of a policy insurance on the life of Farrell Partlow, issued by General Motors Corporation as an employee benefit. The insurer, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (Met Life), agreed to pay the proceeds to defendant Julie Ann Person (formerly Partlow), the named beneficiary. The plaintiffs complaint alleges…
