Defendant appeals from a judgment of guilty following a bench trial in the Circuit Court of Madison County, Illinois. Defendant was charged with a violation of section 31-1 of the Criminal Code, chapter 38, section 31-1, Blinois Revised Statutes.

Defendant contends that his arrest was unauthorized in that the facts surrounding the occurrence did not comply with any of the requirements set out in section 107-2 of the Criminal Code, chapter 38, section 107-2, Illinois Revised Statutes.
