A grand jury indicted Arkadi Minassian for the offense of fraudulent possession of identifying information. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 32.51 (West Supp.2013). Mi-nassian moved to suppress the evidence that law enforcement seized at the time of his arrest, contesting both the lawfulness of that arrest and the search of (1) the white Nissan Armada in which he was traveling at the time of his arrest, and (2) two laptop computers found within the Nissan.
