Harold Anderson (“MrAnderson”) brought this action against the Village of Jacksonville, Missouri (the “Village”), in the Circuit Court of Randolph County seeking damages for the Village’s violation of the Sunshine Law, section 610.010 et seq., RSMo 2000. Mr. Anderson prayed for judgment against the Village for refusing to provide him with information regarding its ownership of certain real estate in breach of the Sunshine Law.
