This action was brought by the plaintiffs to quiet their alleged title to an undivided one-half interest in a certain tract of land, consisting of 160 acres, situated in what is known as “Sespe Canyon,” in the mountainous regions of Ventura County.

The complaint, which was filed on the twenty-eighth day of May, 1921, specifically describes the 160 acres, and alleges that the defendants claim and assert an interest in said property adverse to plaintiffs; that the claim so made by the defendants is “without any right whatever, and that said defendants have no estate, right, title or interest in…
