The present action was initiated by the Plaintiffs Lisa Morales Firestone (the “Plaintiff” or “Firestone”) and her husband Scott Craig Firestone in state court, which was subsequently removed to this Court by the Defendants — the Board of Education of the Manhasset Union Free School District (the “Board”) and the Manhasset Union Free School District (collectively the “municipal Defendants”), Dr. Jean Kendall (“Dr. Kendall”), and Victor Berrios (“Berrios”).
