The Jefferson Parish School Board seeks to expropriate approximately 32.96 acres of unimproved ground belonging to the Marrero Land and Improvement Association, Ltd., appellants. The acreage sought-*586is part of a 400 acre tract of land owned by defendant and is located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Marrero in Jefferson Parish.
