In 2010, Walter J. Himmelreich — a federal prisoner — filed a complaint against numerous defendants, alleging several causes of action. The district court dismissed the complaint for failure to state a claim. On appeal, in Case No. 11-3474, we affirmed the dismissal of the majority of the claims and defendants, but we vacated and remanded two claims for further proceedings: a claim of retaliation in violation of the First Amendment based on Him-melreieh’s placement in administrative detention for sixty days in 2009, allegedly in retaliation for his filing of a claim under the Federal…
