The Department of Labor’s Benefits Review Board hears appeals from decisions of Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) concerning claims for federal workers’ compensa-^ tion brought pursuant to the Longshoremen’s and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act of 1927, 44 Stat. 1424, as amended, 33 U.S.C. § 901 et seq. (1976 & Supp. IV 1980).
