LOUGHRY, Justice:

This case is before this Court upon the appeal of the petitioner, Jason W. Holstein, from the December 12, 2013, order of the Circuit Court of Kanawha County re-sentencing him to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. 1 The petitioner contends that his guilty plea to first degree murder (felony murder) was not entered knowingly, voluntarily, and intelligently, and that his sentence is disproportionate to the sentences imposed upon his co-defendants.
