—In an action to recover damages for medical malpractice and wrongful death, the plaintiff appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County *775(Scholnick, J.), dated June 4, 1990, which granted the defendant’s motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint for failure to timely serve the summons and complaint within the applicable Statute of Limitations.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.
