The city of Bridgeport laid an assessment on property of the defendant for repairs made on a contiguous public sidewalk, filed a lien and brought this action to foreclose it. The trial court decided that the walk was on an approach to a bridge constructed and maintained by the city, and that it was the duty of the city and not the defendant to keep the walk in repair. The plaintiff has appealed.
