This is a minimum and overtime wage case brought pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C.A. § 201 et seq. Plaintiff, an exotic dancer at the Pink Pony club in Atlanta, Georgia, alleges that she was misclassified by Defendant Pink Pony as an independent contractor, and therefore not paid minimum wage or overtime wages as required by the FLSA.
