This is an action by the plaintiff, J. O. Stallings, to recover possession of, and to quiet title to, a farm in Bryan county. The trial court sustained separate motions for judgment on the pleadings in favor of the defend-' ants, and plaintiff appeals.

The facts, as stated in the pleadings, are these: On January 10, 1921, Stallings and wife executed and delivered to Northern Assurance Company a mortgage covering the land in question to secure a loan of $10,000.
