Case Summary

A police officer detected a strong odor of raw marijuana emanating from James Parrott’s vehicle during a traffic stop. The officer had Parrott exit the vehicle, handcuffed him, searched him, and found raw marijuana and other contraband in his pockets. The State charged Parrot with marijuana possession and other crimes.
