INTRODUCTION

Defendant Wade Allyn Bush appeals from an order denying his petition to reduce to misdemeanors his felony convictions for theft from an elder and receiving stolen property (Pen. Code, §§ 368, subd. (d), 496, subd. (a)) 1 pursuant to section 1170.18, which California voters enacted as part of Proposition 47, the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act.
