OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Patricia L. Bailey, appeals her conviction from the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas for the offenses of obstructing official business and dereliction of duty.

{¶ 2} Appellant was an off-duty Fayette County Deputy Sheriff in October 2006 when she was accused of obstruction and dereliction of duty in connection with the service of a protection order on her brother. Appellant's case was tried to a jury, which returned a guilty verdict on both counts. After sentencing, appellant initiated this appeal, setting forth three assignments of error for our review.
